30th Anniversary

SIDURI TURNS 30!

This year, we officially turn the big 3-0. Since 1994, when we crafted our first Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley, we’ve been pioneers in West Coast Pinot Noir.

Today, under the artistry of Winemaker Matt Revellette, we create exceptional single-vineyard and regional Pinot Noirs from over 20 sites, reaching from Santa Barbara to Oregon's Willamette Valley, along with our celebrated Chardonnays. Our journey wouldn’t be possible without you, our loyal fans, who’ve supported us through new tasting rooms, AR attempts, pillow talk, and more. At Siduri, choosing your adventure is our mantra. With many vineyards left to explore, countless new journeys await.

Here’s to perfecting Pinot together since 1994, and to many more adventures. Cheers!

Our Story

In 1994, a Pinot Noir obsessed rebel found an almost mystical vineyard in the lesser-known region of Anderson Valley. Equipped with fantastic fruit and exceptional winemaking talent, it was time for that rebel to share his obsession of Pinot Noir with other rebels.

Since then, Siduri has maximized the expressions of Pinot Noir (and Chardonnay) grapes from sought-after Pacific Coast vineyards. Because of the brand's obsession with the variety, it was named after the Babylonian Goddess of wine. The goddess shared a quintessential value that has become an ethos for Siduri since its origin: cherish life’s pleasures.

Originally from Kentucky, Matt fell in love with wine by working in vineyards during his summers as a college student. He found the process of winemaking the perfect marriage of art, science and pleasure. He obtained a BA in Philosophy from Hanover College and a Masters in Viticulture and Enology from Fresno State, where he published research on grape and wine tannins. His extensive experience includes some of the greats in the wine industry: Sojourn Cellars, Williams Selyem, Kosta Browne, Quintessa, and Mending Wall (where Schrader, Maybach and Pulido Walker – amongst others were made by Thomas Rivers Brown).

Hey Siduri Family,

What an incredible first 30 years for Siduri! Adam and Dianna created a beautiful (and delicious!) blueprint for crafting Pinot Noir from exceptional vineyards in 1994 and I hope to carry on that legacy for years to come. Join us for library wines and new releases as we celebrate the first 30 and the next 30.

Cheers!
