2017 Russian River Valley Parsons’ Vineyard Pinot Noir
2017 Pinot Noir
92 POINTS
From a slightly higher elevation vineyard in the Russian River Valley (which is surrounded by old vine Zinfandel), the 2017 Pinot Noir Parsons' Vineyard offers plenty of classic Russian River character in its red and black fruits, cola, bay leaf, and spice-driven aromas and flavors. Nicely textured, ripe, and sexy, drink it over the coming 4-6 years.
About This Wine
Lush black raspberries, earth and juicy blackberry on the palate, this wine builds to a huge finish with enough tannin and acid to focus the generous fruit flavors. Supple and harmonious, this wine is a crowd-pleaser now and will only develop more nuance in bottle.
