The Garys’ Vineyard is a special place for Siduri because it combines the farming talents of our longtime friends, the Pisoni and Franscioni families – the patriarchs that make up the two Garys. The 2018 vintage provided outstanding weather during the harvest season, and the cool afternoon winds in the Santa Lucia Highlands preserved aromatic freshness and acidity that make the wines from Garys’ Vineyard so compelling. Rich and full bodied, the wine shows cherry, dried cranberry and orange zest aromatics that lead to a rich and juicy midpalate and a long, lingering finish. The 2018 vintage was a great showcase of what this vineyard can produce, and the 2018 Garys’ Vineyard Pinot Noir will be enjoyed for well over a decade easily.
