The Van der Kamp vineyard is situated on the western face of Sonoma Mountain, which exposes the vineyard to breezes from the Petaluma Gap and provides Pinot Noir with the cooler climate it thrives in. The Van der Kamp vineyard is truly a family operation, with the brother and sister team of Ulysses and Malia Van der Kamp doing the lion’s share of vineyard work themselves. This is such a distinctive wine – the generous fruit is accented by some gorgeous aromatic notes like forest floor, underbrush and smoked meat. This is also a wine that is incredibly versatile when it comes to food pairings. Siduri has been sourcing fruit from this vineyard since 1996, and we’re delighted to showcase this beautiful place.
